5-9 am ONE LITER ounces of Minneapolis tap
11 am 8 ounces of green juice with collar greens, romaine, ginger, stevia, lemon and kale.
3 pm Jackfruit, fingerling potato, carrot, red and yellow peppers, green onion curry with a HUGE SALAD with avocado, pico de gallo, red onions, green peppers and lots of fresh lemon juice.
630 pm Ezekiel Sprouted Grain tortilla with red sauce, goat gouda, tomatos, basil and LOTS of garlic with a HUGE raw salad with raw Caesar dressing (I’m officially sick of it as of today) and home grown SPROUTS and sunflower seeds.
7 pm One Cup of Popcorn with olive oil and salt and three homemade raw cookies with spirullina powder, lucuma, mesquite, maca, Stevia, cashew butter, coconut oil and chia seeds…
1130 pm Two tootsie pops, orange and grape.
I feel like I’m in a rut. I’m kind of broke so I can’t really afford to go buy a bunch of groceries and so I am just eating easy stuff and lots of processed GOOD foods like the Food for Life tortillas and dry goods like the lucuma, quinoa and goji berries and whatnot that I already have. I’ve been craving sugar a lot lately and cream. Last night I had a craving for soft serve so intense I briefly tried to justify the health “value” of a Vanilla shake from McDonalds. I try to stay in tune with my cravings and not deny myself the craving – as in if I am craving a McDonalds Milkshake, what is healthy alternative that will fulfill that desire? Due to a tight budget I’m not really able to seek out the healthy alternatives… which is a shame, really shameful that healthy alternatives are often so significantly more expensive than their destructive inspirations. Poor people, look out….your chances for avoiding obesity, diabetes, cancer, etc. are not looking good. Don’t you know it? You don’t deserve to eat fruits and veggies that haven’t been tainted by chemicals and pesticides? Shame on you for being poor.
I’m cranky today, as you may have noticed….my quantities of juice are going down. I didn’t finish the youtube video that I promised yet because I am having some plumbing issues that I have been trying to get sorted out.
Soon though, and I am promise to adjust my attitude tomorrow.
